  1. Bernie is the super ego – Donald is the Id

  2. Farfetched and out of context, nice try to round it all up simply Steve Trujillo but Obama got us into some deep issues and if you think America is going to go another 4-8 years with the socialist elitist crony capitalism it’s not going to happen.

    • Hoogity Boogity. To think I used to have time to respond to comments like this makes me wonder why I wasted so much of a scarce resource. But I bet you don’t care much about conserving resources. China!!!!!

    • Steve Trujillo Bernie Sanders is a walking anachronism.he’s offering nothing new.

    • What are you talking about?

    • Walter Burkhardt I’m talking about socialism it is proven not to work.

    • That’s right, TJ. Not unless your goal is to promote the health, happiness, and well-being of the people. Like in in Scandinavia, where their economy must be in shambles, those leftist liberal godless commie pinkos. But, wait, they’re actually thriving…hmmmm? I just don’t know how we’re going to reconcile that into our limited world-view TJ. CHINA!

    • In all seriousness TJ, here’s a great article from Economist magazine that maintains a very objective perspective as it assesses the strengths and weaknesses of the Nordic model. I wish we, as Americans, had the same pragmatism and ability to think critically and analytically when considering what works and doesn’t work in our country.

    • Stevie Trujillo So explain to me why you don’t live there?. I think you are dreaming. The problem with a great nation like ours (structured on capitalism which was the whole point of leaving behind British principles) has been diluted through politics and boarders not enforced. One cannot run a country if one doesn’t know who’s in it. I highly suggest that you read Adam Smith’s book “The Wealth of Nations” then you and I can have sensible dialog based on substance. What you are doing is what I refer to as “Fragmentation” I am writing a book called “Implicated Scope” I have a lot of one-liners that I will base my chapters, here’s an important one ~ fragmentation is the enemy of perception ~ TjP

    • The irony is killing me. Carry on…

    • Not only have I read “Wealth of Nations” in its entirety, I even understood it. Maybe you should read Noam Chomsky and then we can have a reasonable discussion 🙂

    • Noam Chomsky is boring writer of fiction.

    • Stevie Trujillo The mechanics of capitalism are being taken out of context and substituted with human perception. This is another way liberals like to fragment I order to make a point. This is exactly why I wrote about fragmentation all one has to do is divide and separate something then create confusion of the parts instead of looking at the whole. This man has no credibility he’s simply trying to look intelligent and carry himself as this great knowledgeable professor but to me he is a complete poser. Adam Smith was talking about human interpretation of the subject matter not the subject matter in and of itself. Again fragmentation. Bigger government is not what’s needed because that creates notions like raise the minimum wage when really we need to raise the level of consciences of society. Education in social skills and a better perception of the gift of life and human existence is what’s needed for all society. The world is filed with complacency and that has resulted in a lackadaisical existence and dependency on a department instead of self-accountability. Which leads me to say another one of my reference quotes. Society today wants no self-accountability yet demands self-entitlement. This is a volatile mix and that’s what you are experiencing in the daily news. It’s time we lose the mind pollution because ~ Loves the Solution ~ Tj

    • Doug Somers – Noam Chomsky is widly considered to be one of the most brilliant people on the planet earth today, literally. He has spent most of his career at MIT where he is currently Professor Emeritus, and has authored over 100 books, NON FICTION. Oh, and he was voted the world’s top public intellectual in 2005. Wow, go figure. This guy is pretty fucking smart. To use the word genius would be an understatement. People like this are born once a century. Perhaps you just don’t “get” him? I don’t know? What are you reading right now? -TREE

PS. Tj Parker – you sound like a tool. Carry on.

    • Noam Chomsky has more critics than supporters. His stance on the middle east is a threat to all Jewish people. His support for Palestine and their elected government of Hamas proves he’s anti Semitic. My wife is Jewish. He is a threat to her right to breath. Sorry I don’t agree with your idea of genius. I support Israel and Jewish people including my wife and her family.

    • I am reading The National Building Code, The California Building Code, The American Concrete Institute Manual. I am studying to be a building inspector in between running 2 companies and managing 2 sober livings housing 17 men struggling with recovery.

    • Stevie Trujillo I have always been a leader I have always ran my businesses, I have always made my own determinations by well-informed information, I need no constituencies to exist and enjoy life to its fullest. As for Noam Chomsky I’m not interested in his education I simply go by my golden rule which is ~The information needs to support the substance~ I cannot go by the rhetoric I can only go by the record and he has no real accomplishments other than books filled with opinions. He is a social justice activist, who cares! It doesn’t bring any resolute. You call me a tool but it is you that appears being used. It appears that you need and live a life of absolutes to feel comfortable and must make sure everyone agrees to your influences when really a conjectural life is best because it consistently allows new information to come in. As we are an information based species this is important to comprehend and be cognizant of. As for what I am reading it’s your advocating of worthless propaganda that has no solutions. I think you may want to read this a few times to assimilate the substance of my perceptions it’s much more detailed than the layman syntax reads.

    • >>>Noam Chomsky has more critics than supporters.

      That is not actually true.

      >>>His support for Palestine and their elected government of Hamas proves he’s anti Semitic.

Again, not actually true. Why don’t you actually read what he writes. Specifically regarding non violence. That includes Israel’s actions Doug.

      >>>He is a threat to her right to breath.

      No, again not true. Read.

      >>>I support Israel and Jewish people including my wife and her family.

You have to rise above the thinking of us vs. them before you will ever see the trees through the forest Doug. Noam is a heavy read. Give it a try.

    • You keep telling me to read. Have you read the charter of Hamas?

I read this in the Hamas charter.
I read of Noam Chomsky support for Hamas.

“The Day of Judgement will not come about until Muslims fight the Jews (killing the Jews), when the Jew will hide behind stones and trees. The stones and trees will say O Muslims, O Abdulla, there is a Jew behind me, come and kill him. Only the Gharkad tree, would not do that because it is one of the trees of the Jews.” (related by al-Bukhari and Muslim).

    • Doug Somers wow deep !!

    • Preamble

Our struggle against the Jews is very great and very serious. It needs all sincere efforts. It is a step that inevitably should be followed by other steps. The Movement is but one squadron that should be supported by more and more squadrons from this vast Arab and Islamic world, until the enemy is vanquished and Allah’s victory is realised.

Preamble to the charter of Hamas.

You claim my post to be untrue. I understand you come to your conclusion based in the writings of a fool. I choose to believe the writings of the government he supports. Hamas chants “death to the Jews” . Chomsky supports Hamas. Chomsky is a threat to Jews.

    • Doug Somers NICE!! I Love the conviction as it reads completely honest and informed, great rebuttal.

    • Jason Giancanelli This is completely filled with empty rhetoric there is no substance only speculation. BTW I am a registered Independent I could care less about any political party you subscribe but obviously you do. So sad, here’s a good message ~it’s best to think on your own. ~ try it you’ll feel better and independent.

    • Jason Giancanelli It’s so true. No one changes their mind thru FB comments, not even a little bit. Yet sometimes I feel compelled to retort to the wackiness. I’m an idealist at heart 🙂 Still, it’s less frustrating when we just laugh at it instead.

    • Stevie Trujillo Nicely said!! Now that is a very intelligible response.

  3. I wish I shared your joy. From all the usians I know I ought to see the fun in it and trust it ‘ll all blow over but truth is that it scares me. I don’t want to have to see nor hear him talk for 4 years. We have a joker like him in our parlement and if you read wilders his website you think you’ve gotta be kidding me. But 10 years later he is stronger then ever. Extremism comes in many forms and the world won’t be a better place with this one on the helm.

    • The other day Tree said, genuinely concerned, “Trump could beat Bernie,” and neither of us was laughing. It’s a terrifying possibility that speaks volumes about the mental state of the U.S. I’d like to believe that the independents in our country would be less enthralled with Trump’s narcissism, bullying, misogyny, and racism than the republicans are, as they clearly have stated in the polls that Trump speaks their truth. Scary, right? Not to mention that Trump hasn’t been able to answer a single question on policy, but no one notices because they’re too enchanted by his mean spirited attacks on others. It’s nuts, so all we can do is laugh at the big joke until it’s time to vote, and pray there’s a shred of critical thinking and pragmatism left in our country.

  4. You read Wealth of Nations AND understood it? But you are a girl. 😉 Thanks for your brilliance. Totally made me laugh how you responded after being talked down to.

Plus I knew those boarders are ruining nations.

    Yes. Thinking is good.

  5. Stevie Trujillo Don’t waste that valuable resource – time. There will always be those that confuse information despite it’s origin with knowledge.

  6. I love the idea of Trump v Sanders. It divides us along very definable lines and settles the soul of this country in the hands of the victor. Except for the fact that the stakes feel waaaay too high of Sanders loses.

  7. Thanks for playing!

  8. Well said, Jason.

  9. Haha thanks Stevie!

  10. This made me laugh. Thanks Cody Johnson!
